Description
The Escalation League will take place over 9 weeks, running from Sunday, October 15th, 2023 and ending on Monday December 18th, 2023. Players will be paired in one round a week each week on Monday evenings. They will then have the entire week to contact their opponents and play their game within the store sometime during operating hours. Event pairings will be posted and coordinated through the store’s Discord server.
The “escalation” aspect of the event refers to the fact that the league will play three games at each level of competitive play starting at 1000 points. There will be prizes for the best overall league records, as well as several minor Best in Faction awards. Finally, there will be prizes for Sportsmanship and Painting! Rounds 4-6 will be at 1500 points, and rounds 7-9 will be at 2000.
